ok, so even if laws are to be written on people's hearts vs spelled out into lawbooks, there's going to have to be some laws in the new system of things, right?
i say we get the ball rolling and brainstorm what they should be: after all, none of us got invited to the party anyway but since there just ain't going to be any party, why let that spoil our fun?
so, the theme is laws to be in effect in the new system.
No kissing, hugging, clapping or applauding when dead loved ones come back in the resurrection so as not to make others feel sad whose dead loved will not be returning!
If Watchtower had their way there would be numerous other dumb and stupid rules in the new system that have no logic to them at all!
in my last meeting to be re-instated they said for next time figure out which person from the bible i'm most like.
and be ready to tell them what i pray about and how i feel about what i did to jehovah.
being honest , speaking from the heart about jesus forgiving peter and having a hard time answering the prayer question didn't work getting hysterical and nervous-breakdownish at the end didn't help, nor did running out of the hall after saying i could never do any better.

This incident took place about 6 months ago in our congregation. A member had been df’d for something similar as Meadow36. This person’s issues were truly more medical related than social related as she also had a slight mental disorder. Bottom line, the Elders got tired after a couple attempts to ‘help’ her and so decided d’fing would wake her up. She had been df’d for about 11/2 years. She had made repeated attempts to get reinstated that failed. She finally decided that suicide was the answer & attempted to take her own life but failed, thanks to her children’s intervention who are not JWs.
The day finally came when her reinstatement was announced. The congregation was so pleasantly surprised and overjoyed that the majority broke out in applause. The killjoy a’hole Elder making the reinstatement announcement reminded the congregation of the ‘WT rule’ that no clapping or applause was allowed when reinstatement announcements are made. This Elder did not have to say that! But such is the life of humiliation that df’d ones have to cope with even when they are welcomed back.

i came across a mormon "sisters" blog...reading through some of her missionary experiences, it sounded so much like jw pioneer "sis" relating hers.
just swap out some of the cult-language words and it's suddenly a jw experience of sharing "bible truths" with some poor worldly sap.. here's an taste of it:.

This is a quote from June 15, 2012 WT study edition pg 28 par 11. Here the WT is criticizing worldly advice, saying that it is forever changing:
‘Humans, on the other hand, are simply not wise enough to recommend what always works. Their advice is constantly being revised and updated as they come to realize that earlier advice was flawed.’ (revised and updated-as though WT has the freedom to speak)
just re-discovered this gem:.
